In the usual fashion of these posts, these are ranked in an order. What that order is is entirely up to how I feel, and no I’m not going to tell you what that order is. I also sometimes omit options j ust because I want to. Deal with it. All photos are stolen from Wikipedia or wherever else I feel like snagging them from, but I’m not gonna give a source. Just reverse search it if you need to know, it’s not hard.

The ST170 is basically identical to the US SVT, isn’t it? :p

Also, the Euro-market Mk1 hatchback has really awesome tail lights with amber turn signals. The ones we got are awful. Fuck whoever made those changes!

I was interested in the SVT when I was buying out of college, but the local Ford dealer told me I was nuts to want a fancy Focus when I could have a Taurus for the same price. I bought a Volvo S40...

I feel like it was mostly “pick something on our lot because that’s best for us”, with more than a hint of “small cars are for poor people, so with your budget, you should buy a mid-sized car to be respectable”
